Welcome to the Infant Room

This classroom is designed for infants from the age of 6 weeks to 18 months old.
The teacher to child ration is 1:3, 2:6, 3:9, and 4:12.  Each teacher is responsible
for 3-4 children in their primary care group.  This means that while all the teachers
help care for your child’s needs, each teacher is able to focus on a small group of
children.  Teachers are aware of each child’s developmental needs.

A developmentally appropriate approach is given to the day-to-day needs of your
child.  Your child will be moved often so that they are not in one spot for too long.
Your child will be held by our loving and nurturing teachers on a regular basis and
be given one-to-one attention as much as possible.  Napping and eating schedules
are followed as given by the parents.

Assistance and encouragement are given to each child as they work towards the
